If you’re looking for something truly different, head to Bhujung—this peaceful little village tucked
away in the hills of Lamjung is home to one of Nepal’s oldest and boldest traditions: honey
hunting.
This isn’t done with fancy tools or safety gear. Local Gurung men climb high cliffs with just
handmade ropes and bamboo ladders to collect wild honey from giant bee hives. It’s raw, risky,
and absolutely fascinating to watch. The whole thing feels like something out of an ancient
story—but it’s real, and still happening today.
Joining this trip isn’t just about seeing honey being collected. It’s about connecting with people,
stories, and nature in a way you’ve probably never experienced before.
